though the photo was done quite some time ago and the collage was handed on a wall for almost a year. Final piece as a wall decoration in lovely studio apartment with very nice sea view, dark blue curtains and solid wood flooring and grey/black/white colours in furniture items.
Happy to announce that we will do a workshop for a collage art created with the recycled paper. The workshop will be held on 23rd of March 2019 in Pattaya, Thailand @ LoveArtPark Pattaya.
Workshop “Recycled collage project” aimed to attract attention to the quantity of paper that we use every day and the ways how to reuse or recycle it.
Used boxes, paper bags, A4 office paper etc we will transform on our workshop into the art and decoration item. We will paint, splash, cut, tear off, glue and do a lot of fun activities with the paper. This workshop will also help to see your creativity at work, as there will be not prepared tasks, just lots of materials and techniques to try and see.
Paper is very multi-faced material to work with, it can be soft, hard, smooth, rough and so on. With the help of water (which is the solvent for both paint and glue) it can be transformed into different shapes and forms.
All materials will be provided, none of the experience or knowledge is needed.

Today I will show photos from the process of creation a collage, small original wall art made from recycled paper.
The first idea was to re-use paper and carton boxes that appears in our studio every time after a grocery shopping by transforming them into mixed media art project.
On the other side of a carton box it is quite good and solid surface, suitable for acrylic paint and latex glue.
Using carton size 20×30 cm as a canvas, painted big pieces were cut into small pieces of different geometric shapes and sizes.
Next step was to play with them, combining pieces by different ways, until we get a perfect collage and get tired of endless combinations.
Bonding process took another few hours, but the results were quite satisfying
Another type of collages follows quickly:
Framed with white frame collages look stunning and the idea that they were made from recycled paper and carton give it additional value.
This collages I created almost the same time as my Robot thing.
3 pieces that can be placed together or separately one by one. Each piece is 36 x 36 cm, mixed media on cardboard with paper and acrylic colors. Covered with spray lacquer and framed with wood frame.
